Blank Canvas Cosmetics Pro Brush Belt Review

Hello Beauties I hope you are all well 

Ah it feels great to be back blogging :) I had it planned to come back sooner than this but my baby boy is suffering with reflux which is a horrible thing for any baby to go through.  Since he was 5 weeks old he has had to deal with this and still is so forgive me for been slow coming back.  With been exhausted 90% of the time and been a full time mum of 6 one needing alot of my attention I bearly had time to sit down for a cup of tea never mind get back blogging plus I have so much to review its crazy :)  I have missed blogging & you all so so much and couldnt wait to be back behind the laptop :)  Jayden is fast asleep for now so here I am & This is where I will be every second I have free :) 

Of course my first review after 3 months has to be on the Blank Canvas Cosmetics Pro Brush Belt in which has been on my wishlist for a long long time now :)  I have alot of makeup brushes and I mean alot and Now that I am going free lance I needed something to make life easier for myself instead of placing my brush individually on a table each time I do makeup :)  

I spotted Sineady Cady with this brush belt and I just had to try it out for myself.  If you are a Makeup Artist, Freelancer or even in college studying Makeup you are going to want one of these I promise :)  Even if you are not all of the above and have alot of brushes this is such an easy way to store all of your brushes together :) 

This brush Belt is one of the most sold products from the Blank Canvas Website that at the moment :)  So grab while you can especially if you want to buy a close friend or family member one for Christmas or want to treat yourself to one because alot of the time this beauty is sold out.  At the moment its available :) :) 

This Pro Brush belt is made up of alot of separate compartments :) All the compartments are arranged perfectly on the belt and are all different sizes of course to fit all your different sized brushes :)   

You dont have to store just brushes in here though you can store makeup also :)  Your eyeliners, lip pencils, lipsticks and eye pencils even mascaras in the compartments :) :)  

The brush belt is made of Faux Leather and closes with zip :)  It also has a strap that wraps around you waist and closes with a clip :)  Whats great is that you can adjust the belt to fit you waist properly :)  Of course I have to mention that the belt has Blank Canvas Cosmetics name printed in the inside :) 

How love how easy this belt is to clean because lets face it your makeup brushes will make a mess :)  A simple wipe of a wet cloth and its as good as new :) :) 

This belt is so sturdy that you can fill it up with brush fold it and close it up using the zip.  Never once have I felt that the zip was going to burst.  Its like the Leather case has this build in elastic that stretches as you close :)

Just look how beautiful my brushes look together :)  

I love that this brush belt is at an amazing affordable price of €24.99 :)  I want to get another one :)  (yes I do have that many brushes haha) 

I highly recommend this belt to you all I love how organised my brushes look in here and the fact that I can bring alot more brushes with me on travel or to do a clients makeup and it doesnt take up too much room in my makeup box :)

The New Limited Edition PIPPA for BLANK CANVAS Palette Review

I am so excited to be doing this blog post as I am very excited for both Blank Canvas Cosmetics and Pippa O'Connor :) 

You all know by now Who Blank Canvas is as I have blogged so much about this company and their products :)  Blank Canvas is one of my favourite Irish Companies who sell Amazing quality brushes and palettes :) 

I am not sure you know who Pippa O'Connor is so let me tell you a little about this beautiful and Inspirational woman.

Pippa is a Model mum and one of Irelands Leading beauty and style bloggers :)  She is a mum of one and is a happily married successful woman :) :) 

Her Blog is visited by thousands everyday and she now has a successful You-Tube Channel.

This palette only became available last week and because it is Limited Edition it has surely been top priority for everyone to buy including myself.  When I first heard about this palette I didn't care what price it was I just had to own it and the sooner the better as I have a feeling they will sell out very very fast.  Infact if you are interested in this palette yourself please take it from you jump straight onto Blank Canvas Cosmetics website and buy it because once the stock is gone its gone for good :)  

So lets take packaging :)  

As you can see the packaging is absolutely stunning.  On the lid is Pippas signature which makes it even more personalised :)  On the back is a fantastic picture of Pippa herself and a little information about her.  It also has pictures of what is in the inside of the palette :) :) 

The palette itself is very slim and very handy for carrying on travel.  The lid is held shut by a very strong magnet :) 

Isnt it so pretty and girly :) 

When developing this palette both Una from Blank Canvas and Pippa worked hard to develop this exclusive palette which is designed to stay true to the Blank Canvas high quality ethos and to Pippa's own love for fresh, natural make-up.  I have to admit my first impressions of this palette even before I started using it was very good I love the packaging, I love the layout and also the shades of the eyeshadows and face products in the palette.  

I also love how personal Pippa has made this palette to herself.  She named the eyeshadows and the face products after people in her life she cares about.  I can only imagine how proud she is to own something like this as every time I read the names I feel my heart soften :) 
K.D:  Is named after her granddad who was a very influential man to her This shade is a strong shade and he was the first person she thought of naming it :) 
Dodo:  Is named after her grandmother as they call her Dodo for short she wanted grandmother & Granddad beside each other :) 
Susu:  Is named after her sister :)  
Tobi:  Is the name of her first dog she ever owned 
Ollie:  Of course had to be in there after all he is her pride, joy and son :) 
Lily:  Is named after her current dog she owns 
Lulu:  Her most favourite shade in the palette (infact this name and the reason touched my heart the most it even brings a tear to my eye)  She explains this is named after her beautiful Mum who is shining bright from above guiding her and willing her on every single day :) <3 
Pipsy:  After herself as her friends call her Pipsy Pie
Amour:  She explains is a shade that brings everything together and Amour means Love which represents her husband :) 

Now lets Talk about these eyeshadows in which I have to say are absolutely stunning.  The quality is amazing and reminds me so much of the eyeshadows in my Lorac Pro Palette :) 
All shades are matte which I love as matte eyeshadow good matte eyeshadows in one palette is very hard to find and these ones are just mind blowing :)  When she choose the shades in this palette she choose brilliantly as they are perfect for day and night, for bridal looks, for mature women, for literally anyone :)  

K.D:  Is a deep Matte Black.  This matte black couldnt get any blacker :)  Its soft and creamy and so easy to blend.  What I love about this is it doesnt flake or create any fall out :)  I love that this shade can be used both wet and dry so if you are travelling you do not even have to bring an eyeliner you can just use this with a wet eyeliner brush :) 
Dodo:  This is a stunning rich chocolate brown which has a slight red undertone to it :)  This is perfect to wear with a deep smokey eye or to use in the crease and outer corner of the eye for a day time smokey eye :)  Again soft creamy and easy to blend I love how this shade brings out my hazel eyes when I use it :) 
Susu:  This is a great multi-tasking eyeshadow :)  Its a matte medium brown which can be used for the brows, for a transition shade, for blending, face contour shade etc :)  Soft creamy and easy to blend :) 
Tobi:  A warm soft brown another perfect transition shade.  I see a slight coral undertone to it when I use it and thats why I use this all the time for a transition shade :)  It looks stunning and works create to warm up any eye look :) 
Ollie:  A subtle warm toned nude-beige eye contouring shade.  The perfect blending out shade I have every used without it looking obvious on my eyes.  I love how well this works for me and use it every single time I apply eye makeup 
Lily:  A beautiful shade and one that surprised me the most to be honest.  I actually thought this shade was going to need packing on to be noticed but I was wrong.  A Very Pigmented Ivory-Vanilla shade.  It works great for an inner corner highlight or all over the lid and also under the brow.  I adore it :) 
The swatches below are made with no primer and are only 2 layers :)  Amazing :) 

Next up is the Face products :) 

Lulu:  Just look how amazing this looks in the pan :)  And oh my good this highlight shade is out of this world honestly :)  Its a stunning warm champagne highlight perfect for your cheek bones for highlighting under the brow cupids bow and even to wear as an eyeshadow in which I did today :)  
You get the most beautiful golden glow from just one sweep of this highlight :)  You are not left looking like a disco ball.  I have been using nothing but this highlight for my cheek bones since I got it I AM IN LOVE 
Pipsy:  A light Coral-Pink shade a perfect natural blush that is suitable for even the palest skinned people out there.  To be honest I have never been one to wear coral blushes but I am loving the effect of this shade on my skin Love it 
Amour:  A Perfect contour shade a matte brown which is perfect for both contouring and bronzing :)  I absolutely love how this is neither too warm nor too cold.  Its very buildable which means even the palest of skin out there can not over do it with this shade

Here is a very simply day time look that I created to make myself look more wide awake and ready for the day as lately I have been looking very tired, wish washed and pale all because I am currently battling with been low in Iron due to pregnancy and the fact im over 8 months gone and a mum of 5 :)  I need every little pick me up I can find and thanks to this palette I can achieve that in a hurry :) 

In this eye look I used on the eyes LULU (which is the highlight) all over the lid and inner corner 
I used TOBI as a transition shade 
SUSU on the outer corner bringing it into the crease.  I built this shade up more on the outer corner bringing whatever was left on the brush into the crease 
I lightly added a little of DODO into the crease just to deepen daytime smokey look :) 
I used all 3 shades on the bottom lashline also.  Lastly I used LILY under the brow 

I think everything about this palette is beautiful and is well worth having in your collection especially if you like natural beautiful makeup.  The quality of the eyeshadows and the face products is brilliant and would match up to high end products. 
I do have to admit when I did see the price tag at first which is €34.99 I thought "Wow that is a bit over priced" compared to what Blank Canvas usually charges for their products which has always been super affordable but now that I have tried tested and love this palette for myself, its worth every last cent :)  As I said before the quality easily matches up to my Lorac Pro Palette in which costs no less than €50 - €60 euro per palette :)

New Favourite Brush Alert - Blank Canvas Cosmetics E36 Large Concealer/Eyeshadow Brush

Hello my Gorgeous readers I hope you are all well :) 

Tell me some news What has life been like for you lately :) 

Well mine has been cray cray with raising 5 kiddies.  Been 6 months pregnant and of course been a blogger I wouldnt have it any other way :) 

Today's review is on a new brush I have not yet reviewed :)  It is not new to the site but to be honest its only in the past month I have actually started using this and I am blown away with it :) 

This brush is absolutely outstanding and makes life so much easier for me when doing my makeup!!!!  I noticed just how much I loved it the week I went on holidays especially.  My holiday was not a relaxing one and to be honest even tough I enjoyed every moment of it but my kiddies did not allow me much time to do my makeup while been there (which I didnt mind of course) but they just wanted out of the house and out all day :)  I had my needs and needed to get my makeup on in literally 5 minutes :)  

Along with the help of my other favourite brushes this brush in particular made applying my makeup in 5 minutes happen :) Especially when applying my eye makeup I really only needed this brush 

The new brush in question is the:

 E36 Large Concealer/Eyeshadow Brush :) 

This brush has to be one of the best brushes that Blank Canvas Cosmetics has made without a doubt :)  I have 3 of these babies and I use each and every one of them a different way.  Its a perfect multi-tasking brush :)  Because of its synthetic fibres you can use this with both cream and powder products :)  

I absolutely adore the shape of this brush.  Its an oval shape yet turn it to the side and it looks thinner.  There is so many bristles in there I dont know how they managed to fit them all in this small brush :)  The brush is so so soft I love it 

I use this first of all for packing on shadows as its absolutely brilliant for picking up the right amount of eyeshadow to pack all over the lid.  I also love using this to pack on pigments and glitters as the bristles cling onto the loose pigments perfectly and creates less fall out :)  

This brush is also perfect for applying colour into the crease because of the shape.  I simply apply to the crease and then turn over and blend as simply as that :) 

I also use this for applying and blending out concealer :)  I love how well this brush blends out the concealer without soaking up any of the product :)  Its also small enough to fit under the eyes and even in the inner corner of my eyes :) 

Lastly I use this brush for both contouring and highlighting :) 

Contouring down the sides of my nose as its the perfect fit, contouring the crease of the eye area and even contouring the cheek bones with cream products :) 

Highlighting with this is like a dream.  Down the bridge of the nose, cheek bones, under the brow and cupids bow its just the perfect size :) 

You can now see why I adore this brush so much and what I love even more is that it only costs as little as €6.99 for each brush :)  I highly highly recommend this brush to you all its just such a handy brush to have that can be used for literally anything :)  

Washing and drying this brush is a dream also :)  It washes so quickly without shedding and is dried within an hour :)

Blank Canvas Cosmetics F05 Fan Brush Review

Hello Beauties I hope you are all well 

Ah it feels great to be back blogging :)  I have had such a crazy week with family issues and most of all very sick little kiddies in the house Its been CRAAAZZZZYYYY :) Thank fully all has calmed down and everyone is back on the mend :) 
I think I have fallen in love with a very unusual brush in which I have always really ignored and never used properly.  To be honest when I first started wearing make up I never new what a fan brush was for.  I am sure alot of you out there are in the same boat and to be honest you have found yourself saying it wouldn't be the first brush you would buy or reach for am I right?  
I know as I have also bee there.  That was until I started watching YouTube video and seen a few famous beauty gurus using a fan brush to wipe away fall out etc.  So I decided to get this brush and play around with it I want to see just how great of a job this beauty can do and to be honest found myself reaching for it alot.  That was about a year ago and I still can not believe I have not blogged about it yet :) 
So today's the day I am going to finally tell you all you need to know about this beautiful creation :) 

The F05 is made of synthetic and natural fibres and feel weightless both in the hand and on the face.  
This brush is a very multi-purpose brush and I use it for literally every thing :)  It may look like it cant do much simply because it has very few fibres compared to the rest of the face brushes from Blank Canvas but believe me looks can be deceiving :)  If you are one who uses a heavy hand when it comes to powders, bronzers, blush and highlighter you are going to want one of these brushes believe me :) 

If you are one who does over use powders this brush is your answer believe me I have been there with over using and ending up looking like a clown or looking too bronzed or even making my make up look too cakey after applying powder and its so annoying :) 
This brush stops all of that happening and let you gain more control with how much product you apply to your face :) 

So let me tell you the ways in which this brush can save your life or should I say save your makeup on your face 

1. Wiping away mistakes :)  Yes we have all experienced it :)  Applying foundation first then doing your eye makeup only to realise the eyeshadow you used has created fall out all over your face :)  Well this brush can simply change that as its so light a simply swipe under the eyes can get rid of that fall out without leaving dark streaks :) 
2. Apply finishing powder or translucent powder :)  This brush is really handy for that especially when you only want to use a little amount.  The brush will only pick up the smallest amount leaving you with complete control of how much you put on your face and you end up with a flawless finish instead of a cakey look to your face 
3. Seal the deal !!! when you are getting on in years and noticing a few of those horrible fine lines that appear mostly under and around the eye area you like to use a concealer that is a liquid form and more moisturising under the eye but sometimes it can look too dewy and needs just the tiniest bit of powder to seal it in without looking too cakey and drying.  After all if your under eye is too dry it will look like you have more lines that you originally have.  This brush helps you seal that concealer without over doing it leave you flawless under those beautiful eyes :) 
4. Creating a natural looking contour look:  We all love to contour i love to contour every time I do my makeup but some days I just want to create shadow like line under my cheek bones :)  This brush allows that to happen :)  you can build the colour up to whatever intensity you desire and if you prefer the more heavier look there is always the F30 is the brush for you but for a shadowed contoured look this brush is the key and as contouring down the nose but cant find the perfect sized brush in your kit for that well look no further as this beautiful brush is the perfect size 
5. Creating a natural flush:  This brush is going to help you achieve this :)  if you just want a sheer and natural flush of colour on your cheeks simply dip this brush into your favourite blush or even a blush that is very pigmented and you have been afraid to use in fear of making yourself look like a clown and swipe along you cheeks you will love the finish :) 
6. Become the highlighting queen:  Over doing it with the highlight ?  This brush is perfect for you a simply swipe across the cheek bone with this brush leave the perfect subtle highlight cheek bone you ever saw How?  Well you will never ever pick up too much product with this product with this brush so you can build the highlight instead of over doing it :)  It also fits perfectly down the bridge of your nose :)  down forget to brush along your cupids bow and also under the brows.  :) 

When using a Fan brush think of it as using it for a more air brushed finish because its so light and feather like you can automatically achieve that air brush finish simply by using this brush and never ever have to worry about over doing it with any of the above products :)  
This is why I am so in love with this brush :) :) 

As some of you may worry about washing such a delicate brush I can safely say that blank canvas has sorted that one out :)  I have washed this brush like I do with all of my other brush and never once has it shed :)  I deep clean it and spot clean it and it always goes back to its normal shape :)  Plus it dries super quick :) 

To be honest this brush should be in everyones collection because I can guarantee you will need it :) :)  Even to this day I need it for all of the above uses :)

NEW BRUSH ALERT!!! Blank Canvas Cosmetics F32 Small Sculpt Brush

Today I bring to you a brand new brush from Blank Canvas Cosmetics :) 

You all know how much I adore the F30 Brush boy oh boy this is my most favourite Blank Canvas Brush of all time and should be in everyones makeup brush collection :)  Here is a reminder of my review on this beauty :)   Well the great news is that The F30 has a little sister now :)  

The F32 Small Sculpt Brush :) 

I was super excited to to get this little beauty in my hands :)  and let me just say this brush has become another favourite of mine :)  

The F32 looks so cute and small especially when put up against the F30 :) 

The F30 is the most perfect brush for contouring under the cheek bones, around the hairline and under the jawline :)   The length of this brush its the same length you line should be under your cheek bones.  

The F32 is designed to help you contour the more smaller places on your face for example down the sides of the nose.  

The bristles on the brush is exactly the same as the f30.  It is tightly packed with synthetic fibres  which can be used for cream and powder products.  Even with the bristles been so tightly packed the brush feels incredibly soft to touch and to use. 

What I love about this brush is that you can also use this for highlighting your cheek bones, down the bridge of your nose even under your brow bones as its small enough to reach those places.  Thats exactly what I have been using this little beauty for.  I love it !!!

Now thanks to the F30 & F32 I am now a pro at highlighting and contouring :)

My Top 10 Products by Blank Canvas Cosmetics 2014

Hello My beauties 

I have decided to do a little series on my top favourite products from different brands for the year of 2014.  I know its early but to be honest by the time I get through all of the brands I am using and have used I will probably need a full month so I might as well start now before 2015 comes in and It might also help you choose some presents for your loved ones for Christmas ;)   Some posts might begin with My top 5, My top 10 of even My favourite _________ of 2014 either way I think this will be very helpful as it means I have repurchased many times or used alot of throughout the year :) :) 

Of course I have to start this series with one of my favourite brands of all time as I think I own nearly everything on the site at this stage and everytime something new comes in I have to get my hands on it :) :) 

Blank Canvas as become well known since it began and to be honest I have nothing but amazing reviews about their products by lots and lots of bloggers.  I dont think I have ever seen 1 bad review.  I myself am a huge huge fan of their products and if you are a regular reader I am sure you already know this :) :) 

So without further ado let me begin by saying even picking out my top 10 has been extremely difficult I was nearly going to change it to my Top 20 ;) 

So let me begin with Number 1

It has to be The Famous 6 Pan Contour Palette 

I literally have went through 2 of these so far and own one for myself and have one for my kit.  This Palette is one amazing palette.  Its all you face powers in one palette. 

you have:  2 highlight shades 

2 setting powders in which one of them could be used as a blush 

2 bronzer/contour shades 

The shades are perfect for everyone for every skin type skin tone everyone!!!!! The powders are so easy to blend so easy to work with and most of all this palette is super affordable :)  As I have already reviewed this palette I will not go into too much detail but if you are a makeup artist, makeup lover or even just want to start up a collection of makeup for everyday use This palette is one item you should have in your collection AMAZING and is my number 1 for sure 

My Number 2 is :) 

Its has to be my F30 Sculpt Brush OMG girlies this brush is a god send!!!!!!! Contouring with this beauty is made so much easier you can literally do this with your eyes closed honestly I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!  I literally use this everday and everytime I do anybodys makeup.  

If you havent grasped the contouring yet you will instantly become a pro the moment you have this in your hands :) :) The most amazing creation ever :) Check out my indept review here you need this in your life.  Any men out there who have ladies in their lives who love makeup Get my Number ! and Number 2 in this list and she will love you forever lol

It has to be my F22 HD Dome Face Brush.  I have a full review on this already.  I have been loving this brush alot lately for applying my liquid foundation.   The fibres on this brush is so tightly packed that it doesnt soak up alot of product.  I love the domed shape as it makes applying foundation so much easier especially when blending around the hair line, under the eyes and around the nose area.  I love the flawless finish it gives.  This brush is amazingly soft and every time I use this on anyone they always always comment on how soft it is on their face :)  I love applying foundation with this brush on peoples faces as it like giving them a nice relaxing face massage :) :) they love it :)   I own about 3 or 4 of these :)   I also love using this to apply cream blush :) 

My Number 4 is 

The F20 Stippling Brush which is another famous brush by Blank Canvas.  This brush is AMAZING for applying foundation also.  Has been my favourite for a very long time and this too I own about 3.  It was actually my first ever brush I bought from Blank Canvas and I still to this day recommend it to everyone.  It gives such an amazing flawless finish and is super super soft :) LOVE IT 

My Number 5 is 

The F25 Powder/bronzer Brush which I have reviewed (by Guest blog post on Make up for Dolls blog)  This is the most softest amazing brush ever ok maybe not ever but oh my goodness I love this brush to bits.  I am actually going to get another for my kit I adore it that much.  This can be used for powdering all over the face, for blush for bronzer for anything really.  I highly recommend this beauty you will wonder how you lived without it honestly :) 

My Number 6 is 

The Pro Deluxe E23 Short Pencil Brush:   LOVE IT!!!!!!!   I love using this to smudge shadow under my lower lash line its the perfect size to get that precise line.  I also love using this when to smudge out my liner for everyday wear when you dont want that strong harsh line.  This is also perfect for getting that percise out V shape  Its great for the crease its great for the inner corner ITS JUST GREAT FULL STOP.  You can also use this brush for your cream shadows :) This brush is made from soft high grade natural hair.

My Number 7 is 

Pro Deluxe Flat Shader Brush E26:  This is one amazing brush.  I find it brilliant picking up the right amount of eyeshadow.  Its amazing how easy this make to apply my eyeshadow's without loosing too much product.  Its so soft and a pleasure to use.  The shape is exactly right for the lid I love that.  This is yet another brush that holds its shape well after each wash.  

My Number 8 is 

The E39 Bent Liner Brush:  I Adore this brush for applying my eyeliner.  It makes life so much easier for me especially when im in a hurry.  We all know how hard it is to get an even line and also create a nice flick.  Well if you are not used to applying gel liner and are trying to see what you are doing in front of the mirror sometimes its hard to dodge you own hand to see what you are actually doing close up...... Not anymore with this liner brush !!!!!  Check out my full blog post here on this beauty :) :) 

My Number 10 is 

The amazing E25 Pro Deluxe Tapered Blending Brush.  I have a few of these beauties and love using this obviously for blending out my eyeshadows :) :)   The secret to a good eye makeup look is in the blending BLEND BLEND BLEND :) :)  I also love using this brush to set my concealer around the nose and under the eye area its so small it can reach them areas perfectly

There is one more I have to add to this list and I know its cheating but im allowed as its my blog hehehehe 
my next favourite brush is the one and only 

The E30 Deluxe Double Ended Brow/Spoolie brush.  This is one brush everyone should have in their collection.  You have one side in which has a brush to put those crazy brows in place then the other side you have a very flat slanted brush for applying your brow colour on in the most perfect way.  You can also use this side to apply eyeliner and it applies brilliantly

So there you have it :)  My top 10 (11) Products by Blank Canvas Cosmetics of 2014 :) :)  They are a long time favourite of mine and to be honest I can see they will continue to be as long as Blank Canvas is around :) :)  Have you Tried anything From Blank Canvas Yet?  What is your favourites from there?
